V Festival Announces Headliners And Other Acts

The headliners for V Festival 2013 have been announced, as well as other acts.

The 2 headliners that have been announced for V Festival 2013 are Beyonce, and the almighty Kings Of Leon.

But Beyonce & Kings Of Leon weren't the only people announced; also confirmed include Sterophonics, The Script, Emeli Sande, Calvin Harris, Beady Eye, Jessie J, Basement Jaxx, Rita Ora, Two Door Cinema Club, Olly Murs, Fun., Ellie Goulding, Travis, Labrinth, Jason Mraz, Of Monsters And Men, DJ Fresh, Jessie Ware, Rudimental, James Arthur, Scouting For Girls, Little Mix, Deacon Blue, Gabrielle Aplin and many more. But V Festival isnt't like T In The Park, or the Isle Of Wight Festival, because the way V Festival is different is that there are 2 festivals taking place on the same weekend in August (17th - 18th August), one is in Chelmsford (Hylands Park) and the other in Weston Park. 

But fear not Beyonce and Kings Of Leon play both festivals. So Beyonce will be playing one festival (Weston Park or Hylands Park) on the 17th and then the other festival on the 18th; as will Kings Of Leon and all the other acts.

But the awards weren't the only big news of the night, oh no! alt-j, in an interview with James Corden at the Brits, when asked what UK Festival they would be playing they answered; 'T In The Park, Reading & Leeds and Glastonbury' So in that interview they reveleaded that they would be playing Glastonbury 2013, which they have yet to have been announced for!

Wireless Festival 2013 Announces 2 Headliners And More Acts

Wireless Festival 2013 has announced 2 of the headliners, and other acts for the 2013 event.

The 2 headliners that have been announced are Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z, others acts announced for Wireless Festival 2013 are Snoop Dogg, Emeli Sande, Trey Songz, Rita Ora, John Legend, Kendrick Lamar, Miguel (on both the Friday & Saturday as current), DJ Fresh, Frank Ocean and finally Calvin Harris. The news comes after it was anounced that Wireless Festival and Hard Rock Calling (Which has had no acts announced yet) will be moving into the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. For more on that story click here.

STUFF IN RED IS UPDATE - UPDATED 8TH MARCH 2013
T In The Park has announced for acts that will join the already amazing line up.

The acts that were confirmed were Chase & Status, Sterophonics, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Dizzee Rascal, The Lumineers, Labrinth, Noah And The Whale, The Proclaimers, Frank Turner, Foals, Phoenix, Editors, Ocean Colour Scene, Frightened Rabbit and many more. Also announced include Beady Eye, Laurent Garnier, Daughter and finally Tribes.

Snoop Dogg, has also today (8th March 2013) been confirmed for T In The Park, this is the 3rd UK Festival Snoop Dogg has been confirmed for, as he has also been confirmed for Wireless Festival 2013, and Bestival 2013.

All those acts and more will be joining already confirmed Mumford & Sons, The Killers, Rihanna, Emeli Sande, The Script, Kraftwerk, Jake Bugg, Paloma Faith and much more. Isle Of Wight Festival 2013 Line Up Completed, Thanks To New Additions

More acts have been announced for the Isle Of Wight Festival 2013, and thanks to those acts the line up is now complete.

The acts that have completed the event are Rizzle Kicks, Damian Lazarus, Everything Everything, Delilah, Bastille, Zane Lowe, Tim Burgess, T'Pau and finally X Factor 2011 winners Little Mix. For the full Line Up, scroll down to the bottom of this post.

The Dates for the Isle Of Wight Festival 2013 are the 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th of June. The 13th of June is campers only.

Mama Do The Hump and Down With The Trumpets singers Rizzle Kicks are due to be playing the Big Top on the Friday Night, along with Delilah performing before them also in the Big Top, T'Pau will also be opening the Big Top on the Friday. Also on the Main Stage on the Friday Everything Everything will be playing.

On the Saturday Bastille have been announced and they will be playing the Main Stage, Zane Lowe will be playing in the Big Top, also on the Saturday, along with Little Mix who will also be playing earlier in the day on the Saturday.

Finally on the Sunday Daminen  Lazuras will be headlining the Dance Tent on the Sunday Night. Tim Burgess frontman of The Charlatans will be playing in The Cabaret Club on both the Saturday & Sunday.

The Line Up for T In The Park's Slam Tent for 2013 has been announced. Also along with one more act.

The acts that are going to be playing in the Slam Tent at T In The Park 2013 are as follows Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Seth Troxler, Ben Klock & Marcel Dettmann (b2b), Slam, DJ Sneak, Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Nina Kraviz, Cluade Von Stroke, Eats Everything, Jackmaster, Joy Orbison and finally Silicone Soul. But there was one more act announced.......

In a UK Festival Exclusive Kraftwerk have been announced to be playing the 2013 event. With hits such as The Model, Autobahn and The Robots. Along with it being their UK Festival Exclusive, it is also the bands T In The Park debut.

First Acts And Theme Announced For Camp Bestival 2013

 The first acts and this years theme have been announced for Camp Bestival.

Richard Hawley, who will be headlining the Friday Night. Levellers who will be headlining Saturday Night and finally Labrinth who will be closing Camp Bestival 2013 on the Sunday Night. Other acts that were announced include Dj Fresh Live, Toots And The Maytals, Gabrielle Aplin, Tom Odell, Billy Bragg, The Cuban Brothers, I Am Kloot, Lissie, The Farm and many more.

The DATES for Camp Bestival 2013 are 1st, 2nd, 3rd and then finally the 4th of August.

Rob Da Bank commented on Camp Bestival 2013:

'Hip-hip hooray! Here we are reaching our 6th birthday. Crack out the jelly and ice cream, unroll the Twister board and cover me in sticky pop if I’m not more excited than ever to be announcing our all ages extravaganza once more. As ever it’s a veritable smorgasbord of talent.'

He then went on to say:

 'Music-wise people are always asking for more guitars so we have Richard Hawley, Levellers and Billy Bragg, pop and dance is represented by heavyweights Labrinth and DJ Fresh and we're mega chuffed rising stars Gabrielle Aplin and Tom Odell have chosen to come to the Camp. Throw in some legends like Toots and The Maytals, Musical Youth and Kid Creole and we're pretty confident everyone will be dancing on the grass!'

More acts have been confirmed for Rockness 2013, and this time their all electronic.

The acts confirmed for Rockness 2013 were Fatboy Slim, Above & Beyond, Madeon, Julio Bashmore, Steve Aoki, Benga, Skream, Booka Shade, Josh Wink, Pan-Pot, Jackmaster, Harri & Domenic, Gary Beck, Hans Bouffmyhere and finally Jaguar Skills. Full announcement to the left.



The dates for Rockness 2013 are 7th - 9th June 2013.

Fatboy Slim commented on his slot at this years Rockness:

'Comin' home to baby on the shores of  Dores... Rockness I've missed you... feels so good to be heading back to see how my wayward child has grown. Roll on June, roll on The Scottish Highlands, roll on the party...'

But they were not the first acts announced for Rockness 2013, amonst the previous announcements were Example, Madness, Basement Jaxx, Newton Faulkner, Ellie Goulding, Ben Howard, The Vaccines and many more.

Biffy Clyro To Headline Reading & Leeds

Biffy Clyro have been announced as Main Stage headliners for both Reading & Leeds 2013, in a UK Festival Exclusive.

Biffy Clyro will be headlining the Main Stage at both Reading & Leeds 2013 (Days for both Festivals to be confirmed). But they weren't the only acts announced to be playing, also announced (Again for both festivals) are System Of A Down, Fall Out Boy, Foals, Jake Bugg and Bring Me The Horizon. The dates for Reading & Leeds 2013 is 23rd - 25th August 2013.

Who is playing Download Festival 2013? Well here we tell you.

Download Festival 2013 is due to be held on the 14th - 16th June 2013..... But who's playing? I here you ask, well here we tell you who has currently been confirmed for Download Festival 2013.

The Headliners
The headliners the main attraction as some may call it, who is headlining the main stage over the weekend.

On Friday the almighty Slipknot will headline the main stage. They are sure to be belting out hits like Before I Forgot, Snuff, Left Behind, Duality and many more. However this is not the first time Slipknot have played Download Festival, they also played in 2009.

On Saturday the legendary Iron Maiden will be taking to the Main Stage to headline. They are going to be playing hits like Run To The Hills, Fear Of The Dark, Holy Smoke, Can I Play With Madness and many more.

Finally the Sunday night and closing the Main Stage for Download Festival 2013 Rammstein will play. They will be amazing the crowds will live performances of Engel, Sonne, Mein Land, Du Hast and many more.

Isle Of Wight Festival Dance Tent Line Up Announced

The line up for the Dance Tent at this years Isle Of Wight Festival has been announced.

Example + DJ Wire, Sub Focus Live, Madeon, Jaguar Skills, A Trak, Lee Foss, Benga, Wiley Live, Ms Dynamite, Derrick Carter, Modestep, Andy C and many more; were among the names announced this morning. All the announcements that were made this morning, are in the picture to the left.

Isle Of Wight Festival favourites Silent Disco King will also be playing throughout the weekend. However Sub Focus were announced as the headliners for the Big Top on the Saturday Night.

But the headliner for the Big Top on Friday hasn't yet been announced, nor has the headliner for the dance tent on Sunday.
