Isle Of Wight Festival Confirms More Acts + Day Splits

The Isle Of Wight Festival has confirmed more acts for the 2014 event, and also which day each act will play.

The acts that were confirmed are the following Suede, Fall Out Boy, Katy B, Tom Odell, Ella Eyre, The Pretty Reckless, Anna Calvi, Starsailor, Boy George, The Struts, Alison Moyet, Amber Run, Inspiral Carpets, and The Doors Alive.

John Giddings the festivals organiser said this about the annoucement:
"It just gets better and better. We are honoured that these incredible artists are coming to our festival to kick off the summer festival season in style."

Tom Odell who has been confirmed to be playing on the Friday said this about being confirmed for the festival:
"When I was a bit younger, I used to climb up on the hill near to where I grew up and stare at the Isle Of Wight. I remember knowing that a grand music festival was held on the island every year, and I dreamed at some point I would be there, playing. That day has come and I am thrilled."

They will all be joining already confirmed headliners Biffy Clyro (Read more here), Red Hot Chili Peppers (Read more here) and Kings Of Leon (Read more here). Other acts that have already been confirmed include Calvin Harris, Rudimental, Travis, The 1975, Clean Bandit, The Specials, John Newman, Passenger, Lawson, The Vamps, Dappy, The Waterboys and many more.
