Glastonbury has announced its first act, which is also its Friday Night headliner!Arcade Fire have been confirmed as the Friday Night headliner for Glastonbury 2014. They were announced after months of speculation surrounding them headlining. In a recent interview they said they would have get their wellies ready for next summer and obviously this was subtle hint that they would play Glastonbury next year.
However they are the first of literally hundreds of acts to be announced to perform at the world renowned festival and there are plenty of rumours surrounding the 2014 event. Rumours for the 2014 include Oasis, Fleetwood Mac, AC/DC, Muse, Elbow, David Bowie, Dolly Parton, Prince, Foo Fighters and more. If you would like to read more rumours then click here.
Tickets for Glastonbury 2014 sold out in a record time 1 hour 27 minutes, (which works out at 3,000 tickets being sold every minute) back in October. However there will be a resale of all unsold tickets in Spring 2014 and registration for that sale is open now, to register then click here.
