The first 7 acts have been confirmed for Reading & Leeds 2014. The first headliner that was confirmed yesterday is:
Blink 182
Other acts confirmed are Jake Bugg, Disclosure, Of Mice & Men, Metronomy, Wilkinson and I Am Legion.
Yes that's right Blink 182 have been confirmed as the first headliners for Reading & Leeds 2014, their hits include All The Small Things, I Miss You, The Rock Show, What's My Age Again?, Up All Night, First Date and many more. Their performance at Reading & Leeds is their only UK performances of next year. The band first played in 1999 and blew the audience away, then headlined again in 2010 and yet again failed to disappoint.
Blink 182 said this about performing at Reading & Leeds in 2014:
"I’m stoked to play Reading & Leeds 2014. It’s our fourth time playing the festivals, and we’re very honoured. The new year will see us in the studio preparing new music, getting ready to rock the fine people of the UK. Prepare for the fury."
Jake Bugg was also confirmed, who also played the festival last year. Disclosure have been confirmed to be headlining the NME/Radio 1 Stage. Also confirmed were Metronomy, Wilkinson, I Am Legion. Of Mice And Men were also confirmed and they will also be playing in a England & Wales Festival Exclusive, and will be headlining The Rock Stage.
Reading & Leeds is taking place from Friday 22nd August 2014 - Sunday 24th August 2014.
Tickets are ON SALE NOW for both Reading & Leeds 2014, tickets will be priced at £202.50 for a weekend ticket. There is currently no other information of other tickets types or their prices, however if and when that information becomes available we will post it here.
However this year Reading & Leeds are doing a £50 Deposit Scheme and here's how it works if you put down £50 before next March you'll be able to pay off the remainder in the 3 months after. Here's the 3 examples:
If you pay your £50 deposit in December
£53.50 on 1st February/£53.50 on 1st March/£53.50 on 1st April
£53.50 on 1st February/£53.50 on 1st March/£53.50 on 1st April
If you pay your £50 deposit in January
£53.50 on 1st March/£53.50 on 1st April/£53.50 on 1st May
£53.50 on 1st March/£53.50 on 1st April/£53.50 on 1st May
If you pay your £50 deposit in February
£53.50 on 1st April/£53.50 on 1st May/£53.50 on 1st June
