Matchbox Twenty Join One Month Long Festival

Matchbox Twenty have been annouced for the 19th September for this years iTunes Festival, which is 1 Month Long!?

Matchbox Twenty will release their fourth album in 16 years called North ,which goes on Sale in September so when they play the iTunes Festival they will have old hits and new!

Global Gathering Get Crowd Raving Away!

Global Gathering took place last Friday (27th July) And Saturday (28th July), and it didn't go down quietly!

The 2 Day event featured acts such as Tinie Tempah, Maverick Sabre, Afrojack, Knife Party, Skrillex, Chase & Status, Labrinth, Magnetic Man, Ms. Dynamite, DJ Fresh, Boy Better Known f.t Skepta, Friendly Fires, Annie Mac, Nero, Sub Focus and many more.

Tinie Tempah headlined the Main Stage on the Friday night, and Chase & Status headlining the Sunday Main Stage. Chase & Status's set included hits like Blind Faith, Eastern Jam, No Problem, Let You Go, Pieces, Flashing Lights and many more.

Camp Bestival Goes Down A Treat

This weekend (20th July - 22nd July) Camp Bestival took place at the historic site of Lulworth Castle in Dorset.

Acts perfoming included Hot Chip, Kool And The Gang, Happy Mondays, Rolf Harris, Chic Featuring Nile Rogers, Kitty & Daisy And Lewis, Stooshe, The Cuban Brothers, Earth, Wind And Fire Experaince, Dub Pistols, Rizzle Kicks, Bellowhead and many more.

You may have heard of a festival on the Isle Of Wight called Bestival curated by Rob Da Bank, and Camp Bestival is its sister festival, which takes place in September; this years line-up for Bestival includes Stevie Wonder, Florence + The Machine, New Order, Friendly Fires, Nero, 2ManyDJs, Sigur Ros, The XX, Two Door Cinema Club, Emeli Sande, Stooshe, Rizzle Kicks, Rudimental and many more.

But Camp Bestival isn't all about the music it also has comedy who this year featured Jimmy Carr, Rufus Hound, Andre Vincent, Ben Norris, George Egg and many more. But thats not all there are also Theatre Shows which included Fantastic Mr. Fox Opera, Shrek The Musical, The Gruffalo Live, Wall Of Death, Dick And Dom and many more.

iTunes Festival is a festival which is 30 Nights, throughout September ,of pure music that takes place in the Roundhouse in London.

Kate Nash and many other names have been confirmed for this years Bestival.

Bon Iver, Elbow And Paul Weller Storm Latitude

Over the weekend (Friday 13th - Sunday 15th) Suffolk played host to Latitude Festival; which featured Elbow, Bon Iver And Paul Weller headlining each night.

Other acts included Metronomy, Laura Marling, Ben Howard, White Lies, Lana Del Rey, The Horrors, Wild Beasts, Yeasayer, SBTRKT, Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club Featuring Omara Portuondo, Janelle Monae, Richard Hawley, Bat For Lashes and many more.

Paul Weller headlined the Sunday night and during his set he played many songs including Wake Up The Nation, Moonshine, The Dangerous Age, The Attic, Broken Stones, Stanley Road, Kling I Klang, You Do Something To Me, Broken Stones, The Changingman and many more.

But that wasn't all Paul Weller played, as you will properly know Paul Weller used to be in a band called The Jam, and during his set at Latitude he played 4 songs from when he was in The Jam, and they were Start!, In The City, The Eton Rifles and of course Town Called Malice.

Elbow headlined the Saturday Night and they got the whole crowd singing along with songs like Mirrorball, The Birds, Grounds For Divorce, Lippy Kids, The Bones Of You, Leaders Of The Free World, The Night Will Always Win, Open Arms, Scattered Black And Whites, One Day Like This and many more.

Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon And Soundgarden Rock Hyde Park

This Weekend (Friday 13th - Sunday 15th July 2012) Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon and Soundgarden headlined Friday, Saturday and Sunday of this years Hard Rock Calling.

Other acts included Iggy And The Stooges, John Fogerty, Alison Krauss & Union Station f.t Jerry Douglas, Christina Perri, Cold Chisel, Lady Antebellum, Amy Macdonald, Big Country, Dawes, Skindred, Guillemots, Lawson, James Walsh, Black Stone Cherry, Kids In Glass Houses and many more.

Paul Simon headlined the Sunday, and headline did he do his set included songs like Still Crazy After All These Years, Late In The Evening, The Boxer, Gumboots, Kodachrome, Gone At Last, Dazzling Blue, Slip Slidin' Away and many more.

But Paul Simon also invited a Special Guest on stage for 4 Songs and the special guest was.... Jimmy Cliff, the songs they performed together were The Harder They Come, Many Rivers To Cross, Vietnam and Mother And Child Reunion.

Bruce Springsteen headlined the Saturday and he performed songs including Born In The USA, Born To Run, We Are Alive, Wrecking Ball, Thunder Road, Badlands, My City Of Ruins, Johnny 99, Glory Days, Dancing In The Dark, Working On The Highway and many more.

But Bruce Springsteen was also joined on Stage for his final 2 songs by a special guest, the special guest used to be part of a famous band, the bands name was an insect and they originated in Liverpool it was Sir Paul McCartney, and they played I Saw Her Standing There and Twist And Shout.

Rihanna Thanks Fans For Staying Through The Rain At Wireless Festival

Last Night (Sunday) Rihanna thanked fans for braving the rain to come and watch her performance.

Other acts playing included Jessie J, J. Cole, Rizzle Kicks, Calvin Harris, Labrinth, Pitbull, Cher Lloyd, Kaskade, Madeon, Flux Pavilion, Lloyd, Stooshe, Far East Movement, Doctor P and many more.

Rihanna's set included many of her greatest songs including Only Girl, Disturbia, We Found Love, Umberella, Love The Way You Lie (Part II), What's My Name, Rude Boy, S&M, Talk That Talk, You Da One, Take A Bow, Cheers and many more.

What makes Wireless Festival special is that it is held in London's Hyde Park. The weather also failed to stop thousands of budding festival goers going to see their favourite bands, and Rihanna said a special Thank You to all her fans for Staying to watch her, despite the rain.

Kasabian Close This Years T In The Park

Last Night (Sunday) Kasabian put a dramatic end to this years T In The Park.

The day also included other acts like Elbow, Chase & Status, Keane, Bombay Bicycle Club, Swedish House Mafia, Nicki Minaj, Happy Mondays, Rita Ora, Maverick Sabre, Skrillex, Nero, The Wanted, Christina Perri, Fun, James Morrison and many more.

Kasabian's set included hits such as Fire, Take Aim, Re-Wired, Where Did All The Love Go, Goodbye Kiss, Velociraptor!, Swicthblade Smiles, L.S.F (Lost Souls Forever), Days Are Forgotten and many more.
