Global Gathering Line Up Confirmed

The Global Gathering 2014 line up has been confirmed, and includes some huge names.

Acts announced include headliners Chase & Status and The Prodigy for the main stage headliners. Confirmed as the headliners for the Hanger are David Guetta, and Alesso.

Other acts confirmed include Katy B, Knife Party, Sub Focus, Annie Mac, Netsky, Pretty Lights, Jaguar Skills, Tommy Jones, Otto Knows, Duke Dumont, Madeon, Andy C, Gorgon City, Knyyto, and many more. See the full current line up at the bottom of this article.

Global Gathering 2014 takes place from Friday 25th July - Saturday 26th July 2014.

Tickets for Global Gathering are priced as follows:

The early bird offer has ended. Weekend tickets are priced from £110 + booking fee, with VIP options priced at £185 also available, day tickets will be on sale at a later date.

Tickets can also be bought on a monthly payment scheme. The first instalment of £31 (£20 + £11 booking fee) is followed by 6 additional monthly payments paid on the last day of each month from January to June.

First Acts Confirmed For V Festival 2014 Including Headliners

The first wave of acts including the 2 headliners have been confirmed for V Festival 2014.

The 2 headliners have been confirmed as Justin Timberlake and The Killers other acts confirmed include Ed Sheeran, Elbow, Paolo Nutini, Example, Lily Allen, Train, Blondie, Manic Street Preachers, Bastille, Rudimental, Kaiser Cheifs, Chase & Status, Rizzle Kicks, Sub Focus, John Newman, Kodaline, Newton Faulkner, Katy B, The Human League, Ella Eyre and many more. Also confirmed include special guests Chic Featuring Nile Rogers.

V Festival 2014 is from Saturday 16th August - Sunday 17th August 2014.

V Festival's organisers Bob Angus, Simon Moran and Dennis Desmond said the following about the announcement: "We’re excited to unveil the line-up for this year’s V Festival, and proud to bring fans such a varied musical offering. Dolly Parton Confirmed For Glastonbury 2014

Country Legend Dolly Parton has been confirmed for Glastonbury 2014.

Dolly Parton tweeted the following:
'I'm incrediblyexcited to FINALLY announce that the #BlueSmokeWorldTour is coming to @Glastofest on June 29th! ;) Stay tuned for more info...'

The 29th June is the Sunday of Glastonbury. However it is unconfirmed what slot she will play at the 2014 but it is expected that she will headline the Sunday Night on the Pyramid Stage.

The tweet was then re-tweeted by festival organiser Emily Eavis.

Dolly Parton's 45-plus year career includes 40 studio albums, five live albums, and twenty-four compilation albums. During her last tour in 2011, Dolly performed for record-breaking attendances in both Europe and Australia, surpassing her previous attendance records. In 2008, Dolly performed 17 European shows to over 170,000 fans, surpassing her then-best 2007 European tour, where she played 21 shows for over 140,000 people. Each of these treks grossed in the tens of millions of dollars and established Dolly as Europe’s favorite and most successful country artist.

This announcement is the second announcement that has been made for the 2014 event. The only other act to so far be officially confirmed for the 2014 event is Arcade Fire, and it was announced that they would be headlining the Pyramid Stage on the Friday Night. Tickets for Glastonbury 2014 sold out in a record time 1 hour 27 minutes, (which works out at 3,000 tickets being sold every minute) back in October 2013. However there will be a resale of all unsold tickets in Spring 2014 and registration for that sale is open now, to register then click here.
